Welcome to the 41^st Fiat FreakOut - FFO24!  It’s been 41 years since the first FreakOut and we’ve been celebrating our passion for all things FIAT, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and other Italian marques ever since.

Fiat FreakOut is the National Convention of Fiat Club America. A five-day event that includes a concours car show, coordinated scenic drives, and lots of socializing. FFO24 is not just about the car show, it is a great opportunity to talk to knowledgeable people and vendor sponsors about your vehicle.

Free daily parking at the hotel lot for registered FFO attendees who are guests at the host hotel. Trailer parking is also Free and onsite.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW...

FIAT Club's special group hotel room rate is $159 plus fees and local taxes per night.

Hotel deposit & cancellation policy: No deposit required and cancellation without penalty is 2 days before check in date.  Cancellations after the no penalty date will be charged a one night room rate.

Our goal is to ensure those who register for FreakOut have access to hotel rooms reserved for us.  To help manage this we are asking members to register for the event at the same time as you book your hotel room. The longer you wait to book your room reservations, the higher the chances are that the hotel rooms will be fully booked.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY MAY 19, 2024, at the latest. 

There are no refunds at any time for any reason. This is necessary as the Club makes financial commitments to the hotel and others based on actual registrations – you pay us, we pay them. 

We expect our hotel will sell out well ahead of our event date so please book sooner rather than later.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER FOR FFO24:

• Your Fiat Club America membership must be current through 6/23/24. If you are an OTP (pay every year) member please visit fiatclubamerica.com to check your membership status before registering. One benefit of being a RP (your account automatically renews every year) is that you do not need to check status as RP members are automatically current.

• Items noted with an Asterik are REQUIRED.

• Register for FreakOut ONE TIME only please.

• Refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled due to Government instructions.

• Adults are considered aged 13 and older on the first day of FreakOut. Children are considered aged 12 and under on the first day of FreakOut.

Only pre-registered Italian cars, owned by Club members, will be allowed on the show field.

FFO24 WEDNESDAY SELF-GUIDED DRIVES:

• OPTION: Mid Morning Scenic Drive (65 miles each way) to Hendersonville, NC. Lunch at Sierra Nevada Brewery - 100 Sierra Nevada Way, Mills River, NC 28732. Pay on your own, reservations not needed. www.sierranevada.com

• OPTION: BMW Plant Tour (Wednesday & Thursday!) $10 per adult. Choose your Tour Registration day and time in Thursday section below.

FFO24 CONCORSO d'ELEGANZA

Fiat FreakOut’s signature event has always been the Concorso show, where our cars are definitely dressed for the occasion!

FreakOut 2024 has selected the lawn by the lake at Furman University. Nestled in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Furman provides the scenic backdrop for our show. Furman is rated one of the most beautiful Campuses in the United States.

Departures for the field will begin at 9:30AM with all cars headed to the field by 10:00 AM at the latest, please. The Concorso is a 25 minute drive (10 miles) from our hotel. Each car will have a predesignated spot/marker to make placing cars a snap. The show and judging will take place between 11 AM and 2 PM, electronic voting to be completed by 2 PM (Please see voting details below).

Lunch in "Daniel Dining Hall" at Furman - 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Pay on your own at venue.

Only pre-registered Italian cars, owned by Club members, will be allowed on the show field.

A panoramic or drone photo will be taken Friday at the Concorso show field. Cars to remain on the field until after 2 PM. We will take an (optional) afternoon drive to Saluda and Tryon, then return to the hotel.

How we vote:

1.  All voting is done via a tool called Survey Monkey and is accessible from any smartphone on the      show field.

2. Registered members will receive separate emails the day before the show for your class ballot and owners’ choice ballots (surveys). The personalized emails are sent to the email you used to register for FreakOut. The email will contain the links you must use to vote. These links are specific to you and your car so please ask for help if you don't see them by 9 PM on Thursday. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see them in your inbox.

3. There is no manual voting at all.

4. Each registered car will have an individual dashcard in your registration bag, please insure you bring this with you to the showfield so fellow member car owners can vote for your car. Without this they will not be able to vote for you.

5. We understand there may be car changes after registration closes. While we don't encourage this we will make every effort to accomodate changes up until a week before the Concorso.  Changes made after this time are not guaranteed to be eligible for the vote.

6. Car owners must vote (and thanks) for the top cars in class, the overall best car in the show, and the car you would like to drive home. 

Please Note: Concorso awards will be given out at the awards banquet Saturday night only. Car owners must be present to win or have made arrangements for someone to pick up your award for you, the Club will not send awards to winners.

All cars must be owned and registered by the same member who is purchasing the base ticket for FreakOut. The Club reserves the right to request proof of ownership.

Register up to 6 six cars total. The Base Ticket includes 1 show car. Each additional car is $25. The Club relies on your car model description to be complete in order to place your car in the right Concorso class. For example, do not indicate that your show car is a "Fiat 500" if it is in fact a Fiat 500C Cabrio or a Fiat 500 Abarth. We want to make sure your car is in the right class. Please help us get this right.

FFO24 SATURDAY AWARDS BANQUET

Celebrate Fiat FreakOut 2024 at the Saturday Evening Awards Banquet! 

The evening opens with the 5 PM hotel guest complimentary "Happy Hour". Includes 2 drinks & appetizers, followed by a cash bar. Club social hour and silent auction bidding opens at 6 PM, Dinner begins at 7:00. 

 Awards banquet highlights include the famous FreakOut trivia contest to find the “smartest table in the room”. Presentation of all Class Show Awards, Special Recognition's, Heritage Class Awards and the coveted Best of Show Award. We will also feature a suprise guest speaker. And, let’s not forget the FFO25 Reveal!

Our meal will be:

Three Entrée Dinner Buffet which includes: Caesar salad, Roasted Salmon Fillets (topped with a chervil tomato salsa and finished with an asparagus beurre blanc), Grilled Ribeye Steaks, Chicken & Shrimp Gouda Pasta (topped with baby shrimp, finished with a smoked gouda mornay, garnished with garlic roasted tomatoes), herb & garlic roasted potatoes, baby green beans, seasonal fruit salad, Cavatappi pasta salad, fresh baked rolls, assorted desserts, water, iced tea & coffee.

FFO24 POST BREAKFAST SUNDAY RAFFLE - 10 AM

After the Awards Banquet on Saturday night, join us for our famous Sunday Morning Raffle Prize event after the complimentary hotel guest breakfast. 10 free raffle tickets are included in your registration, come and win some prizes! Must be present to win. Vendors may have some end of show bargains and special deals.
