Chamber Purpose and Membership Policy

The purpose of the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce is to increase and strengthen commercial and industrial activity and to enhance the quality of life in the Lincoln trade area.

The Chamber solicits the membership, support and participation of individuals and commercial and industrial entities situated in, or engaged in, trade in the Lincoln trade area. Initial or renewal memberships are for a period of one year, effective upon the receipt and approval by the Chamber board of directors of this application as appropriate.

Each membership shall be listed in Chamber publications only as shown on approved membership applications. Each membership shall have one vote in chamber considerations.

Receipt of applications for individual memberships or specification of designated representatives for commercial or industrial memberships shall be taken as commitment to the chamber’s purposes and as willingness to accept assignments in support of those purposes.
