Joshua Tyler, MD Scholarship for Excellence in Leadership and Service

The Joshua Tyler, MD Scholarship for Excellence in Leadership and Service provides an unrestricted $1,000 scholarship to a Florida State University student who is a military veteran or enrolled in an ROTC program or a Health Professions Scholarship recipient and serves as an FSU student leader or has a dedication to service.

The scholarship honors Dr. Joshua A. Tyler and serves as a tribute to his excellence and leadership as a Florida State University student, dedication to service in the United States Air Force, and unwavering commitment to his patients as a medical professional.

The Joshua Tyler, MD Scholarship is offered once a year and the application deadline is January 1. A minimum GPA of 3.2 for all college-level coursework is required and a brief description (200-500 words) of the applicant's student-leadership activities or dedication to service is also required.
