Please complete the application and agreement. All applications are reviewed and selected based on merchandise type, space requirements, environmental impact, and the balance and variety of retail. The final determination of vendors is at the sole discretion of the Kaya Fest team. Thank you for your interest in participating as a 2018 Kaya Fest vendor.
Vendors are allowed to request more than one booth space. The vendors are an essential element of the festival experience and Kaya Fest is committed to providing vibrant, high quality items for our fans to enjoy. Our goal is to make Kaya Fest a successful event for all artists, patrons, and vendors. Kaya Fest supports the art market and its vendors through a comprehensive marketing and advertising program featuring the arts & crafts village in the program, on site maps, and a carefully designed market area that is inviting to patrons.
General Terms and Conditions:
Fruit of Life Productions LLC, [hereinafter “Promoter”] reserves the right to accept or not accept this application.
All Vendors must state on their application what items they will be selling.
All Vendors must have liability insurance with minimum limits of one million dollars. Furthermore, the Certificate of Insurance must list Fruit of Life Productions LLC & NOS Event Center as an additional insured. Proof of insurance must be filed with the Vendor Coordinator on or before April 1, 2018.
Festival Hours: 12pm-12am, Saturday & Sunday, April 28 & 29, 2018
Festival Location: NOS Event Center, 689 S E Street, San Bernardino, CA 92408
Load in and setup: Early set up is not permitted. Vendors are permitted entrance to the Park Facility with vehicles and supplies for set up between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 am only on Saturday & Sunday. There will be parking available on site. Each vendor will be given 1 parking pass to park in the designated vendor parking area. The Park Management and Promoter will NOT be held responsible for items left in vehicles. All vehicles must vacate the venue grounds by 10:00 am SHARP, each morning of the festival. Vendors are prohibited from bringing into the festival any materials via hand-truck, wagons, or any other means after 10:00 am on the day of the festival. Vendors that arrive after 10:00 am, will be denied access to the venue grounds, will lose their right to vend at the festival and will forfeit all application fees.
Load out: 2:00am on Monday, April 30 or when crowd has cleared whichever is earlier. NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN OR OUT DURING FESTIVAL.
Please understand that these time restrictions are necessary to allow sufficient time for the proper inspection of Vendor booths by the Vendor Coordinator.
Merchandise vendors are not allowed to sell or give away any beverages, THC products of any kind, cannabis flower, cannabis gummies, wax, dab, vape cartridges, edibles, shatter, hash, concentrate oils, bongs or tobacco.
No merchandise with the name KAYA FEST or KAYA FEST logo will be allowed. No Bob Marley merchandise will be allowed.
No more than 4 wristbands will be given to each booth vendor.
Promoter will provide one 10x10 space per booth rented and power. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own TENT STRUCTURE, LIGHTS, EXTENSION CORDS, TABLES, CHAIRS and TRASH CANS. The above can be rented for the fees listed under Vendor Information Section below. The use of frayed or unsafe extension cords is prohibited.
Place all trash in the barrels provided. At the close of the event, please leave the full bags behind your location.
All equipment must be stored under the tent.
Please note that vendors are not allowed to set up and/or sell products outside of the tent. All booth signage must be approved by the Festival Art Director to keep within the theme of the event. If signage is not approved Vendor must print new signage using the printer designated for the festival.
Generators will be allowed under approved circumstances only, please advise us if one is required.
We do not allow any amplified sound created by anyone else other than designated musicians and stages.
The festival will go on rain or shine. Vendor fees are not refundable. Disruptions or “acts of God” will not result in a refund of Vendor fees.
Each Vendor is responsible for their property. The Promoter is not responsible for any damage, theft or loss for any reason.
The Park Management NOS Event Center and the Promoter will regularly inspect vendor areas for compliance. Failure by the Vendor or their employees to comply with these Terms and Conditions will result in permanent termination of the right to vend at the festival and will subject the vendor to immediate removal from the festival. All determinations of Vendor’s compliance with the Terms and Conditions are at the sole discretion of the Promoter and all decisions are final. Promoter reserves the right to remove any Vendor violating any of the Terms and Conditions including the total forfeiture of all fees paid. Final determinations are at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
