In the 2023/24 school year, Mill Falls will be educating children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

* Kinder applicants must be at least five years old by September 1, 2023, and reside in NH to enroll.

** Please submit a separate application for EACH child that you wish to enter into the lottery.

Please note that the majority of our open spots will be in the Kinder and Upper Elementary classrooms.

Please be aware that existing waitlists for our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades can be significant.

This includes parents’/guardians' commitment to working with their child, their child's teacher, and the School to support student success.

MFCS students are taught in mixed-age and grade classrooms. MFCS aims to keep children with the same teachers/learning community for multiple years. Please note, the MFCS kindergarten classroom is a single-grade classroom.

At MFCS, students’ academic and emotional/social growth are nurtured with a focus on educating the 'whole child'. Children are taught grace, courtesy, respect for diversity, and respect for their learning community and for the community at large.

MFCS children most often receive instruction individually or in small student groups.

At MFCS, an important part of your child’s success will come from parental involvement with our school. Your involvement can take many forms and MFCS will work together with you to determine the most appropriate ways for you to participate.

As public school students, MFCS students will participate in state testing as required by law. Additionally, MFCS educators will utilize other forms of individualized assessment aligned with the Montessori method to track our students’ academic progress, as well as their social/emotional growth.

All MFCS students are taught to practice peaceful conflict resolution and are expected to model grace, courtesy, and respect toward fellow students and staff.

MFCS reports directly to the NH State Department of Education. Please note, the School is not part of the Manchester School District.

MFCS will generally follow the Manchester School District calendar regarding significant school vacations. However, there are occasional times/days that differ, as needed, for programming.

The Manchester School District provides transportation to and from MFCS only for Manchester residents, though there are some restrictions related to Kinder students. Non-Manchester residents are responsible for their own transportation to and from the School. Please note that Manchester Transportation can change how they conduct their services like they did to comply with COVID safety protocols. When these changes occur, MFCS will pass on that information to our Manchester families.
