Demolition Permit - The building is planning a major renovation or change of use type, and a permit has been issued or is under review by the City of Fort Collins Building Department.
Industrial or Agricultural Use Type - A building is used primarily for industrial or agricultural purposes if the building is used for the growing or assembling of goods, and a significant portion of energy consumed in the building is consumed in support of those processes, i.e., is "process load."
Financial Distress - The building is the subject of a qualified tax lien sale or public auction due to property tax arrearages; or the building is controlled by a court appointed receiver; or the building has been acquired by a deed in lieu of foreclosure.
Public Disclosure - The building owner meets the requirements of a CORA exemption, which are trade secrets, privileged information, and confidential data. Concern that potential tenants might shy away from leasing or buying buildings with poor energy performance will NOT qualify for this exemption.
