Building Energy and Water Scoring Waiver Request

Please complete the following form by selecting the applicable waiver below and attaching the required documentation or submitting it to BuildingScoring@fcgov.com. A separate waiver request is required for each building covered by the Building Energy and Water Scoring requirements. All waivers must be submitted prior to the reporting deadline.

Owners requesting waivers must fill out and submit the Waiver Request annually with all required supporting documentation for that waiver. The City may request additional documentation during the review beyond what is outlined by the program website.

Waiver Options

I am requesting a waiver from Benchmarking and Reporting requirements outlined by the Building Energy and Water Scoring Ordinance Sec. 12-203.

Building meets the criteria for a waiver from benchmarking or reporting deadlines under C.R.S. §25-7-142 (5)**

Building with average physical occupancy of less than sixty (60) percent

Building used for industrial or agricultural processes

Building with confidential business practice

Building with unique circumstances, if approved by the City Manager’s Office
