R. EEG T.

There are four pathways for the R. EEG T. exam.

Pathway I
 
For the R. EEG T., you will need to complete the following:

Pathway II
 
For the R. EEG T., you will need to complete the following:

2. Documentation of 100 EEGs
 
3. Current CPR/BLS Certification

ABRET Recognized Programs
Pathway III
 
For the R. EEG T., you will need to complete the following:

1. One year of clinical EEG experience.
EEG experience is defined as experience in clinical EEG for a period equivalent to 32 hrs/wk (1664 hrs).  Sleep experience is not considered equivalent to clinical EEG experience.

2. Measurement Assessment
Complete an in-person assessment hosted by ABRET – or – Successful completion of ASET's EEG 202 online course and have a current R. EEG T. sign off on your in-house assessment. Eligibility is granted for two years. Download forms here.

3. Documentation of 150 EEGs post-1-year experience

4. 60 EEG ASET Continuing Education
ASET Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) are a product of ASET (www.aset.org) and can be earned at any point during the EEG experience within the last 5 years. No more than 50% of hours may be earned from ASET journal quizzes.

5. Current CPR/BLS certification

Pathway IV
 
For the R. EEG T., you will need to complete the following:

1. Five years of clinical EEG experience.
EEG experience is defined as experience in clinical EEG for a period equivalent to 32 hrs/wk (1664 hrs).  Sleep experience is not considered equivalent to clinical EEG experience.

2. Measurement Assessment

2. Two years of clinical neurodiagnostic experience
 
3. Documentation of 30 clinical EP studies

4. 30 hours of EP/NIOM education hours from ASET, ASNM, or ACNS

CNIM

There are four pathways for the CNIM exam.

Pathway I
 
For the CNIM, you will need to complete the following:

CLTM

There is one pathway for the CLTM exam.

Pathway I
 
For the CLTM, you will need to complete the following:

1. One year of holding the R. EEG T., or RET (Canadian EEG Credential)

2. One year Long Term Monitoring experience following achievement of the R. EEG T.

3. Documentation of 50 LTM cases

CAP

There are two pathways for the CAP exam.

Pathway I
 
For the CAP, you will need to complete the following:

2. One year clinical Autonomic Testing experience

3. Documentation of 20 autonomic cases

4. List of educational activities related to autonomics within the last 3 years. Minimum of 3 activities.

CMEG

3. Documentation of 25 evoked cases and 50 spontaneous cases encompassing 3 or more modalities; AEF, LEF, MEF, SEF, VEF
