Remember: Essays are due on or before June 1, 2015. The MoCo Student will announce winners during the second week of June at mocostudent.org, facebook.com/themocostudent, and twitter.com/mocostudent.
Contest question: What is an issue affecting MCPS students that you feel strongly about? Can you think of a solution to it?
Eligibility Requirements: Contest participants must be currently enrolled in a MCPS secondary school, in grades 8-12, in order to participate.
Writing:
- Essays must have between 500 and 1,000 words.
- Essays should not include the participant’s name. This information should be included on the online form to submit the essay, and not the essay itself.
- Participants are encouraged to seek advice from others, but not writing or editing help.
