Form #2 Music Camp Policies

Please print or take a photo of Camp Policies for your future reference.

Participants must be age 13 years & older.

For the best possible music camp experience & successful learning, the following policies are important to understand:

1. Participants must attend camp ALL FIVE DAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO DROP-INS. NO SUBSTITUTES.

2. DO NOT BRING A CHILD. We do not provide childcare services or classes.

3. Registered participants only will be allowed on the grounds of the Holy Spirit Centre during Visual Arts Camp hours.

4. Participants must arrive on time (8:30 a.m.) & remain until 3:00 p.m.

5. Participants may not leave the grounds of music camp between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (including lunch time).

6. Lunches will be provided. BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH IF you plan not to eat the food served.

7. Art projects may not be taken home until the end of camp on Friday afternoon. Art supplies may not be removed from the classroom or taken home unless by permission of the instructor.

8. School teachers receive classroom resources ONLY IF they attend visual arts camp themselves.

9. Participants may be required to leave music camp if:
-behaviour is disruptive
-they leave class & wander the grounds
-behaviour is uncooperative & disrespectful

10. Cellphones must be turned OFF & put away during classes BUT may be turned on & used during lunch & class breaks.

11. Participants with medical conditions or allergies are personally responsible for their own care and self-management. If the participant is under age 16, parents/guardians are fully responsible for the management of such conditions.

12. The Holy Spirit Community Centre is the host of music camp; all participants are required to respect & adhere to its property rules.

13. $500 JMD Registration Fee is due on arrival Day
