Equipment Loaner Program

Velocity Processing provides all clients with at least one complimentary processing hardware device. Prior to deploying the hardware, clients are required to accept the Equipment Loaner terms and conditions.

Standard Equipment

Velocity Processing currently provides the Ingenico DESK 3500 device at no charge. This payment device will arrive with all of the required encryption and programming.

Wireless Equipment

Velocity Processing currently provides the Ingenico MOVE 5000 device at no charge. This payment device will arrive with all of the required encryption and programming. Clients that require a wireless device will be charged a one-time fee of $29.95 for the wireless activation and a monthly recurring fee of $24.95 for the wireless connectivity.

Equipment Costs

You've selected an Ethernet-based device. Velocity Processing will provide your organization with the Ingenico Desk 3500 device. There is no charge for the device, encryption, programming, or shipping.

You've selected a wireless device. Velocity Processing will provide your organization with the Ingenico Move 5000 terminal. There is no charge for the device, encryption, programming, or shipping. There is a one-time fee of $29.95 for each wireless activation and a monthly recurruring fee of $24.95 for the connectivity of each wireless device.

Acknowledgments

Based upon your selection above, you must acknowledge all of the following items.

Acknowledgment 1 : Use of Supplied Cords *

I understand that I must use the supplied cords to ensure that my equipment works correctly.

Acknowledgment 2 : Thermal Paper *

I understand that Velocity Processing does not sell replacement thermal paper. To receive additional rolls of paper, my organization can order through Amazon or purchase at a local office supply store (i.e., Office Depot or Staples).

Acknowledgment 3 : Use of Terminal Password *

I understand that my organization is responsible for remembering the terminal password if it is customized after activation. New files that are built due to lost or forgotten passwords will be charged a one-time fee of $99.

Acknowledgment 4 : Ownership of Equipment *

I understand that the equipment provided does not belong to my organization. Failure to return the equipment with all applicable cords will result in a one-time fee of $299.

Acknowledgment 5 : Equipment Failure *

I understand that my equipment will be replaced in the event of an equipment failure. Ethernet-based equipment will not incur a replacement fee, while wireless equipment will incur a one-time fee of $29.95 for the wireless activation.

Acknowledgment 6 : Equipment Upgrade or Replacement *

I understand that if my equipment needs to be upgraded or replaced, my organization must return the previous equipment as instructed by Velocity Processing.

Acknowledgment 7 : Failure to Return Equipment *

I understand that my organization is fully responsible for returning equipment as instructed by Velocity Processing. Failure to return the equipment within 14 business days of the request will result in a one-time fee of $299.

Acknowledgment 8 : Modification of Existing Programming *

I understand that my organization should never update the equipment software unless they have been instructed to do so by an authorized representative of Velocity Processing or Elavon. Beware of scams! Outbound calls will never be made by Velocity Processing or Elavon requiring an update. Scammers use this technique and claim they are calling from one of the card brands (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover) and typically advise that updated codes are needed. Contact the Velocity Processing office at 305-917-7000 to ensure that any software updates being made to the equipment are authorized. Velocity Processing is not responsible for any fraud or loss of funds due to unauthorized software updates initiated by your organization.

Acknowledgment 9 : Removal of Existing Programming *

I understand that if my equipment needs to be upgraded or replaced, my organization will contact Velocity Processing at 305-917-7000 and request assistance for resetting the software before returning or discarding the equipment. This is critical to ensure that the equipment is not used to issue fraudulent refunds.

I certify that I am an officer, agent, or responsible party for the organization entered at the top of this form and I have the authority to enter into the equipment loaner agreement with Velocity Processing on behalf of my organization.
