The COVID-19 pandemic is a phenomenon that has affected people world-wide. Besides the tragic loss of life, every sector of the economy appears to be affected. As a result, local and national governments have begun to put in place measures to alleviate the financial impact on citizens. Likewise, financial institutions and property management companies have started to implement forbearance programs and payment plans to assist buyers and renters through the crisis.
The benevolence funds of the North River Church of Christ are limited. As you consider entering a Benevolence Request on this site, please first consult with your lender or landlord if you can take advantage of such plans, thereby alleviating the burden on the church, and allowing more applicants to be assisted.
Please also consider filing your tax return, particularly if you are expecting a refund from the IRS this year.
