Reimbursement Information:

Extradition reimbursement is approved when the individual falls under the Mandatory Retaking definition according to the Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision (ICAOS) and is contingent upon the availability of funds.

Mandatory Retaking: Upon request from the receiving state, a sending state shall retake an offender from the receiving state or subsequent receiving state after the offender’s conviction for a new felony offense or new violent crime or revokable behavior or by absconding from supervision who was transferred through the Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision (ICAOS).
