The Years of Service Award is presented to adult members, recognizing their ADULT years of service to Girl Scouts.
This award is presented to registered Adult Girl Scouts with 5 years of active adult membership. It is then presented every 5 years thereafter (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc...).
Years of Service may be presented by the Service Unit to members or at council wide Adult Recognition Events. Council Wide events are hosted in October, presenting awards to those who hit milestone years in the membership year that just ended. Invites sent in Summer.
Years of Service are tracked automatically through our registration system and this record how we know who is eligible each year for an award.
While they are tracked automatically, years can get off for a variety of reasons. If you need to correct your Years of Service, please fill out this form so we can manually update your years.
